Exhibition Reflection

For the exhibition, we focused on social injustices throughout the world and demonstrated what we learned about them before presenting a solution to the problem. I for my social injustice, I initially chose to write about slavery problems in India, but after getting inspired by a brief segment on 60 minutes about the human rights problem in North Korea, specifically that of the "Kaechon internment camp," more commonly known as "camp 14," which is one of the many forced labor camps in North Korea for political prisoners and there ancestors. Thinking back on it, I am still not sure that this was the right decision: on one hand, I felt that this was definitely a cause that I wanted to learn more about and act on, but on the other hand, switching topics caused me to fall somewhat behind schedule compared to everybody else. This proved to be a near fatal flaw in the end.
